I am currently a postdoc at EPFL in Lausanne, working with Clément Hongler. I study computation, self-replication, and the emergence of complex behaviour in dynamical systems such as cellular automata.

I am also increasingly interested in the emergent behaviour of frontier AI models and its implications for AI safety.

Before that, I was a Ph.D. student at Charles University, Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Algebra department with supervisors Tomáš Mikolov and Jiří Tůma.
